Life Coaching Schools

Life Coaching Schools: There are many life coach schools, academies and colleges throughout the UK (mainly in London) which are accredited and some which are not.
Should the school’s accreditation make a difference to you when you make your final choice of study?
It is a matter of opinion but with life coaching becoming an attractive career-change choice during the past five years or so, many of you will be seeking the right advice regarding training and certification.

Most clients will look to see whether the Life coaching school is providing quality coaches who have had the necessary formal training and will then decide to use their services if they develop a rapport with the coach and experience a tangible benefit from their initial free trial session with him/her.
That’s the reality.

How important is the Life Coaching school’s accreditation? If we can apply some perspective here and ask just what is the most important concern to a prospective client?
They will probably state their most important criteria is how can the coaching school help them in the particular area that they want to pursue as a career in coaching.
And because the better paid coaches generally work in a niche, those niches are such that they are personally developed by the coach independently of any training they might receive. So their success is built on a slightly different criteria.

And that is where the PSG life coach courses bring a measure of reassurance to their clients as they have a such a strong reputation regarding the variety of their syllabus as regards different coaching niches.
This is allied to a strong accreditation through the reputable ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) in Scotland and LBCAI (Life and Business Coaching Association of Ireland). Successful completion of the diploma programme will entitle clients to membership of other high level coaching organisations and associations.

Since coaching is a relatively new profession many new life coaching schools have come into existence. But because there are no universal standards for the life coaching profession, there are no universal standards for those schools.
Therefore to make a sound choice the client should make the effort to verify that the school’s philosophies align with their own and ensure that the syllabus covers the desired market segment.
